Education & Credentials

Megan Miller is a family lawyer, mediator, and Guardian ad Litem who has practiced exclusively in Georgia since 2003. Her experience spans public interest law and the court system, including work with the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless, Atlanta Legal Aid, and as a Staff Attorney for both a Fulton County Superior Court Judge in the Family Division and the Chief Judge of the Superior Court.

Since 2017, Megan has focused exclusively on her work as a mediator and Guardian ad Litem, using her extensive litigation and judicial experience to help families resolve disputes outside of the courtroom.

Originally from a small town in Southern Illinois, Megan earned her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1996. She went on to serve with AmeriCorps in Illinois and Washington State, followed by work with the King County Bar Association in Seattle. She later attended the City University of New York School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2002.

After relocating to an area near Sedona, Arizona in 2021, Megan transitioned to a fully remote law practice and joined Evolve Family Law in 2024. She is an active member of the Georgia State Bar Family Law Section, as well as both the Georgia and Arizona chapters of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).

“With experience as an advocate for parents, a Guardian ad Litem for children, and a former assistant to a family law judge, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply court decisions affect families. I’m committed to helping families reach their own resolutions—thoughtful, lasting solutions shaped by the people who know their lives best.”
