Laura Holland Sclafani graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science. After college, Laura served in AmeriCorps in Greensboro, NC. Laura then attended Emory University School of Law, where she received the Clinical Legal Education Association Award for Outstanding Clinical Student for her work advocating for children at the Barton Child Law and Policy Center. Laura currently serves on the Board of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Council of Younger Lawyers and the Atlanta Legal Aid Service Council. She is an active member of the Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia and an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association Family Law Section. Laura is also a Barrister in the Cooper American Inn of Court.

Laura has practiced family law in metro-Atlanta for almost a decade. She began her career at Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc. where she represented low-income clients in all types of family law cases as a staff attorney in the Fulton Family Law Unit. Laura joined the Evolve Family Law team in 2018. Over her career, Laura has presented to local attorneys about numerous family law topics, including domestic violence, child support, Guardians ad Litem, developments in case law, and name changes.

Laura has extensive experience representing clients in all types of family law matters, whether relatively simple or extremely nuanced. From high-conflict custody cases to uncontested divorces to complicated high-asset divorces, clients are in capable and efficient hands with Laura no matter what issues a case presents. Laura makes every effort to finalize clients’ cases through agreement, but is always prepared to fight for client’s interests in court when agreements cannot be reached.

About Laura

Laura grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and currently resides in Atlanta. Laura enjoys adventures with her toddler, tending to her house plants, attending live music, and being outside.
